Working Offline on Your Project Application

Updated on June 17, 2026

We know some people prefer to prepare their answers offline before applying online. That’s why we’ve provided both a Word and PDF version of the project application form. Download them on the right hand side of this article in the ‘Article Attachments’ section.

These templates show all the questions asked in the online application form, grouped by section. They’re a helpful way to plan and draft your responses before copying them into the ActionFunder platform.

⚠️ A few important things to remember:

  • All applications must be submitted online. The offline versions are for preparation only — your answers will need to be copy-pasted into the online form when you’re ready to apply.
  • One application form, multiple funds. The same application form is used across all funds.
  • Check the fund criteria first. If you’re applying to a specific fund, make sure your project matches the fund’s requirements.
  • Check:
    • 📍Location (within the fund’s catchment area)
    • 💰Grant size (your request must be within the fund’s limits)
    • 🎯Focus areas or beneficiary categories

You’ll find this information on each fund’s page. Projects that don’t meet the criteria won’t be considered for funding.

👉 Once you’re ready, head to ActionFunder to post your project.
