What is the difference between a video and a written pitch?

Updated on February 13, 2024

On ActionFunder, you pitch your project by answering 3 questions:

  1. What is the need?
  2. What is the solution?
  3. Why are you best placed to deliver the project?

You can choose to answer these questions in writing (with up to 700 characters per answer) or as a video (up to 90 seconds total)

Both formats should focus on answering the three questions clearly. Video pitches are twice as likely to secure funding on ActionFunder because they stand out from the crowd. Find out more in this article on why you should pitch using a video.
