Passion is best communicated face to face so share why you do the work you do and its impact on the local community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don\u2019t worry about showing your best side. Funders want to see what you do, not a dressed up version of your non-profit. Simply chat over a cup of tea, give a tour of your premises, bring the funder along on your daily activities, or ask them to join an upcoming event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you don\u2019t ask you don\u2019t get. So, don\u2019t shy away from asking the funder if they\u2019re open to supporting more of what you do.
