It keeps matching with new funds as they launch, and is applied to every Classic fund it fits. Your work on it isn&#8217;t wasted.<\/p>\n<p>If it goes 12 months without an update and isn&#8217;t applied to any funds, it&#8217;s moved back to draft. We&#8217;ll email you 14 days before, so you can review it and keep it live. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/why-has-my-project-been-moved-to-draft\/\">Why has my project been moved back to draft?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The fund that didn&#8217;t select it moves to your project&#8217;s <strong>Application history<\/strong> with the status <strong>Not selected<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/application-history-statuses-explained\/\">Application history statuses explained<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make your project stronger for next time<\/h2>\n<p>Not being selected for one fund doesn&#8217;t stop your project winning another. It&#8217;s still a good moment to take another look:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Is the pitch specific?<\/strong> Name the problem, the people you work with and exactly what the money will pay for. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/what-makes-a-good-project\/\">What makes a good project?<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Is the budget clear?<\/strong> List items with quantities and costs. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/writing-your-budget-breakdown\/\">Writing your budget breakdown<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Is the impact measurable?<\/strong> Say what will change, for whom, with numbers where you can. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/how-do-i-demonstrate-my-projects-impact\/\">Describing your beneficiaries and expected impact<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Have you tried a video pitch?<\/strong> Video pitches are twice as likely to win funding. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/guide-to-video-pitching\/\">Guide to video pitching<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Is your profile complete?<\/strong> Funders look at it when they review projects. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/setting-up-your-organisation-profile\/\">Setting up your organisation profile<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you only change the pitch or delivery plan, click <strong>Save<\/strong> on step 3 and your changes go live straight away. If you change the <strong>Key details<\/strong>, click <strong>Re-publish project<\/strong> on step 3 so your project is matched again. If you&#8217;d like to know, contact our team and we&#8217;ll try to get feedback from the funder.
