The subject line is &#8220;Psst, new funding opportunity for you&#8221;. Matching funds also appear on your dashboard under <strong>Eligible funding opportunities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If one of your projects is applied to the fund as soon as it launches, you won&#8217;t get this email. Instead, the people who manage that project get an email saying it&#8217;s been applied.<\/p>\n<p>The email is sent when a fund launches. If you update your profile later and start matching a fund that&#8217;s already live, you won&#8217;t get an email about it, so check <strong>Eligible funds<\/strong> after you change your profile.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which funds you&#8217;ll hear about<\/h2>\n<p>The emails cover funds that match your profile&#8217;s organisation type, location and focus areas. These are the same funds that appear under <strong>Eligible funds<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/how-matching-works\/\">How matching works<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You may not get an email about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>funds in <strong>Other live funds<\/strong>, which don&#8217;t match your profile (your projects can still be applied to them)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Active Apply<\/strong> funds, which you sometimes hear about from the funder, ActionFunder or your network instead<\/li>\n<li><strong>Private<\/strong> funds, which are invite-only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So it&#8217;s worth checking <strong>Funding<\/strong> in the left-hand menu from time to time too. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/browsing-funds-eligible-other-live-and-past-funds\/\">Browsing funds: Eligible, Other live and Past funds<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make sure the emails reach you<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Add hello@actionfunder.org as a safe sender<\/strong> in your email settings, so our emails don&#8217;t land in spam.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keep your profile up to date.<\/strong> Check your main address is correct and add every focus area that fits your activities. The more accurate your profile, the more relevant the funds we tell you about. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/setting-up-your-organisation-profile\/\">Setting up your organisation profile<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who in your team gets them<\/h2>\n<p>New fund emails go to everyone in your organisation&#8217;s ActionFunder account with the <strong>Admin<\/strong> role, once they&#8217;ve confirmed their email address. Managers and Members don&#8217;t get them. To add someone, give them the Admin role in your team settings. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/add-team-members-to-your-organisation\/\">Add team members to your organisation<\/a> \u00b7 <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/user-roles-permissions-for-non-profits\/\">User roles and permissions<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A fund has launched. What next?<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the fund page and read the criteria and deadlines. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/reading-a-fund-page-criteria-and-key-deadlines\/\">Reading a fund page: criteria and key deadlines<\/a><\/li>\n<li>If you have a live project that fits, it may already be applied.
