From your dashboard, click <strong>Funding<\/strong> in the left-hand menu. The funds are split across three tabs.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The three tabs<\/h2>\n<table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th>Tab<\/th>\n<th>What&#8217;s in it<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Eligible funds<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Live funds that match your profile details (organisation type, location and focus areas). We email you when a new one launches.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Other live funds<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Live funds that don&#8217;t match your profile details. Your projects are still applied to these funds if they match the fund&#8217;s criteria.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Past funds<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Funds that are no longer open for applications.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Private funds don&#8217;t appear in any tab. You reach them through a private link. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/types-of-funds-classic-active-apply-and-private\/\">Types of funds: Classic, Active Apply and Private<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What each fund page shows<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Grants up to<\/strong>: the most you can ask for<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location<\/strong>: the area the fund covers<\/li>\n<li><strong>Non-profit type<\/strong>: the organisation types that can apply<\/li>\n<li><strong>Categories<\/strong>: the focus areas the fund covers<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deadline<\/strong>: when applications close<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click <strong>View<\/strong> to see the fund&#8217;s full details and criteria. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/reading-a-fund-page-criteria-and-key-deadlines\/\">Reading a fund page: criteria and key deadlines<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other live funds are still worth a look<\/h2>\n<p>A fund lands in <strong>Other live funds<\/strong> because your <strong>profile<\/strong> doesn&#8217;t match it. Your <strong>project<\/strong> is checked separately. If you have a project that matches the fund&#8217;s location, grant size, focus area and beneficiary type, it&#8217;s applied to that fund automatically. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/how-matching-works\/\">How matching works<\/a><\/p>\n<p>To see why a fund isn&#8217;t eligible, click <strong>Find out why<\/strong> on it. If the reason is something you can fix, like a missing location or focus area, update your profile. <a href=\"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/non-profits\/help\/setting-up-your-organisation-profile\/\">Setting up your organisation profile<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use Past funds for research<\/h2>\n<p>Past funds show you who has funded what. Open a past fund and look at its <strong>Funded projects<\/strong> tab to see the kind of work that funder backed. It&#8217;s a quick way to get ideas for your own projects.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No eligible funds?<\/h2>\n<p>If <strong>Eligible funds<\/strong> says you have 0 eligible funding opportunities:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Complete your profile. Eligible funds only show once we know your organisation type, location and focus areas.<\/li>\n<li>Check your main address is correct and your profile covers every focus area you work in.<\/li>\n<li>Look through <strong>Other live funds<\/strong> for anything your projects could match.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If your profile is complete, there may just be no matching fund live right now.
