{"id":94,"date":"2025-07-25T09:52:58","date_gmt":"2025-07-25T09:52:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/funders\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=94"},"modified":"2025-07-29T12:35:42","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T12:35:42","slug":"what-happens-after-you-fund-a-project","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/help.actionfunder.org\/funders\/help\/what-happens-after-you-fund-a-project\/","title":{"rendered":"What happens after you fund a project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Once you\u2019ve confirmed which projects you&#8217;d like to fund, ActionFunder takes care of the next steps to ensure everything runs smoothly from payment through to impact reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Due diligence and payment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After a non-profit accepts your funding invite, ActionFunder carries out due diligence checks to confirm that the organisation and project meet all necessary requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If anything unusual comes up during these checks, we&#8217;ll flag it with you before proceeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once due diligence is complete and approved, payment is processed and sent directly to the non-profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What non-profits commit to<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When non-profits accept your funding, they also agree to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Share at <strong>least two project updates<\/strong> during delivery via the platform<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete a final <strong>impact survey<\/strong> once the project is finished via the platform<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These updates help you track progress and understand the outcomes of your funding \u2014 all in one place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Staying in touch<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to stay connected with the projects you\u2019re supporting?
