Custom application questions let you ask non-profits the specific questions that matter most to your fund &#8211; so you get the information you need to make confident funding decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What are custom application questions?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Custom application questions are additional questions that non-profits must answer after matching with or applying to your fund. They appear after the initial application and must be completed before a project is fully matched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;d like to add custom application questions to your fund, get in touch with us at customersuccess@actionfunder.org.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How it works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once custom application questions are set up for your fund, non-profits will be prompted to answer them as part of the matching process. A few things to know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All questions must be answered before submission &#8211; there are no optional fields<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Answers cannot be edited once submitted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each project answers the questions once per project &#8211; if an organisation has multiple projects matched to your fund, each project will answer separately<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Seeing who has answered<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When managing your fund, you&#8217;ll see a green tick on each project showing whether they have completed your custom application questions. Answers appear in a section titled <strong>Additional Questions<\/strong> beneath the first three questions, with each question and answer clearly grouped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This section is only visible to you as the funder and to the project&#8217;s own managers. See example below:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Downloading the data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To review answers in bulk, you can download your applications from your fund management dashboard.
