When will new projects appear in my fund match list?

Updated on July 29, 2025

Your fund match list on ActionFunder is dynamic and regularly updated to reflect new and relevant projects that align with your funding criteria. Here’s what you need to know about when and how new projects appear.

How matching works

ActionFunder uses your fund’s criteria – such as location, focus areas, and funding amount – to match it with projects submitted by non-profits on the platform.

When a new project is published that meets your criteria, it will automatically appear in your fund match list.

When to expect new matches

New projects can appear in your match list:

  • As soon as they’re published by a non-profit and meet your fund criteria
  • When a previously unmatched project is updated by the non-profit to better align with your fund

There’s no fixed schedule – matches are updated in real-time, so it’s worth checking your match list regularly.

How to stay on top of new projects

  • Visit your Fund Management page frequently
  • Keep an eye out for notifications about new matches
  • If you’re not seeing many new projects, consider extending your fund deadline and promoting the fund using your Supporter Pack.
